Peter Burns is ww5’s market unit lead for Australia and New Zealand. He is a member of ww5’s Global Management Committee.

Peter joined ww5 in 2021 and previously served as client group lead for Financial Services in ANZ. He has more than 30 years of broad-based financial services and service industry advisory expertise in banking, wealth management, insurance and government agencies.

Peter has worked with business leaders throughout Australia, Asia Pacific, the United Kingdom and the United States on corporate strategy, customer-led growth and business transformation.

Peter is an advocate for diversity and inclusion, and under his direction, ww5 implemented its first reconciliation plan to formalize our commitment to address inequities for First Nations people in Australia.

Peter has a master’s degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Bond University.
